Thanksgiving Secret Stuffing Recipe
A delicious recipe to go with the Thanksgiving holiday. A traditional recipe that has been passed down from generations. To be served to friends, family and loved ones.
- 1 bag of your favorite seasoned stuffing mix
- 1 pound Grandpa Scalzo’s Chicken Sausage
- 2 cups of chicken broth, divided
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1.5 cups onions
- 1/4 cup garlic
- 1/2 tbsp poultry seasoning
- 3 tbsp butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
Put olive oil in pan heat low to mid heat.
Add onions, garlic, stir, add butter. Cook for three minutes.
Remove sausage from casing, add to mixture with a half cup of broth. Cook until the sausage is no longer pink.
Add the other cup and a half of broth with salt and pepper and poultry seasoning. Bring to a boil and turn off. Add stuffing and mix.
You’re ready to stuff your bird.
